Penn State's open access policy, AC02, applies to scholarly articles. This term does not include abstracts published in conference proceedings or transactions.

Reminder emails about the open access policy, sent by the Office of Scholarly Communications and Copyright, should not include abstracts like this. If you receive a reminder email referring to an abstract, please reply to us at openaccess@psu.edu so that we can correct the publication's metadata in our system, to indicate it is an abstract.
