Psychological Cinema Register (PCR) films were distributed by Penn State beginning in the 1940s through 2014. When sales and rental operations ceased, remaining copies of films were relocated to Penn State University Libraries. Some of these films are still part of the library collection. Penn State users can request these through the library catalog. Other users can request them through interlibrary loan at their local library.

You can read more about the history of PCR and the National Library of Medicine's work to preserve these films in "Psychological Cinema" by Amanda Maple (Penn State) and Sarah Eilers (NLM).
