The Toby and Betty Bruce collection of Ernest Hemingway is open for research use in the Eberly Family Special Collections Library. It does not circulate, and may only be used in the Special Collections Reference Room. Our Special Collections Library hours can be found on the calendar website; it contains the most accurate information and is updated in the event of inclement weather or unexpected closures.

If you are not able to travel to the University Park campus, it may be possible to request scans or copies of material to be sent digitally or through the postal mail, though there may be modest fees involved. To learn more about the collection contents, we recommend reviewing the finding aid, or inventory, for the collection.

In order to request scans or to conduct onsite research, everyone must create a researcher account. To do this, please visit https://aeon.libraries.psu.edu/logon. If you have questions or encounter trouble, please contact the Special Collections Research Services team at spcollections@psu.edu
