There is not one single app that covers all library resources because the University Libraries purchase/license content from many different publishers and distributors.

Several of the major publishers/distributors providing online content to the library do have mobile apps. Here are a few you can try.

  • Penn State Go has a library feature
  • Browzine is lets you browse library journals on an iPad
  • PressReader Current & recent newspapers from around the world
  • EBSCO is a provider of numerous library databases
  • Naxos Music Library is an online collection of classical/jazz music audio
  • Gale is a major provider of electronic library content
  • PSU Libby app - ebooks and audiobooks
  • Most public libraries also offer very good access to e-books and digital audiobooks through the OverDrive service and the "Libby" app
